How does this calculator work?
Step 1: enter lawn length and width. Step 2: the calculator multiplies them to get lawn area. Step 3: it divides by the assumed sod roll coverage and adds a small allowance for trimming around beds, sidewalks, curves, and damaged pieces.
Formula
Lawn Area = Length x Width
Sod Rolls = Lawn Area / 10 sq ft per roll
Total with Extra = Sod Rolls x 1.05
